iPhone Finally gets an SDK

with 3 comments

Apple SDK

So finally the much-anticipated iPhone / iPod touch SDK (Software Development Kit) is released, this will start third-party development for these devices. Developers will have access to the same “Cocoa Touch” framework and all other APIs used by Apple for iPhone software development apart from this they will have access to hardware-accelerated 3D graphics, location-enabled applications and full access to all the media capabilities of the iPhone. The iPhone dev center is there for what every you may need along with an Application distribution System for iPhone which has a revenue sharing scheme of 70:30 and also hosting for free applications. I am seriously waiting for iPhone to get released in India and from what i have heard it will be Reliance with the iPhone………….. any comments???

  1. NO!! Not Reliance. Apple should seriously reconsider their decision about their partnership with Reliance if they want to really go ahead with it.

But, what has always intrigued me is that why hasn’t been Apple sued in the court like Microsoft? They are just doing what MS did, restricting the users’ choices. You make a product and then force it to work subject to certain odd conditions. If MS can be sued for bundling IE which supposedly doesn’t give the consumer a choice of another browser, then why not Apple?

  3. The difference between MS and Apple is that whatever MS does these days is shown as bad even though they do something good.

Take Apple on the other hand, they have a big group of fat-ass fanboys who are irrational and don’t even know anything other than singing “Apple Rhymes”. Even if Steve Jobs murders someone a fine day, these assholes would come out in his support and even write reviews of the great work Steve has done…
